The Australian Maritime College (AMC) at the University of Tasmania is the national institute for maritime education, research and training. One of the seven founding members of the International Association of Maritime Universities, AMC has, over the past 43 years, developed an international reputation for high quality education and research. The college offers a range of courses, from vocational training to bachelor’s and postgraduate degrees in maritime engineering, international logistics, ocean seafaring and more. The college’s multi-million dollar suite of learning, teaching and research facilities are internationally renowned and are used by Defence, industry and government organisations all over the world to address leading-edge research questions.
