CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), also commonly known as the Aged Care Course or the Disability Course, is suitable for individuals who want to obtain the latest nationally recognised qualification for caregivers and support workers and develop their career in the Aged and Community care sector.
This course is for individuals who want to start their career in the Aged Care or Community Care Sector. Upon completion of the course, you may want to work in any of the following roles:

Upon successful completion of all 15 units and the mandatory 120 hours of work placement, you will be awarded the CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability).

REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years or older
- Have basic computer skill
- Hold a Current Student Visa
- Have sound language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
If you are from an English-speaking Background, you must have completed at least Year 10 English, or equivalent.
If you are from a non-English speaking background, you must provide one of the following, as evidence, of upper intermediate proficiency in English:
- IELTS total band score of at least 5.5 with no band less than 5.0, or equivalent.
- Occupational English Test (OET), TOEFL iBT, Pearson Test of English, Cambridge English Advanced with scores equivalent to IELTS 5.5 and no less than 5.0 in each band.
- The English test must have been taken within two years before the application is made.
- TOEFL IBT Minimum Test Score (equivalent to IELTS 5.5) 46; Minimum Test Score (equivalent to IELTS 5.0) 35.
- PTE Minimum Test Score (equivalent to IELTS 5.5) 43; Minimum Test Score (equivalent to IELTS 5.0) 36.
