The Advanced Diploma of Information Technology ICT60220 is a qualification that provides learners with advanced skills and knowledge in the field of information technology (IT).
This qualification is designed for students who would like to develope their career in IT or who have equivalent industry experience.
To obtain the Advanced Diploma of Information Technology ICT60220, Student must complete a total of 16 units of competency, including:
- BSBXCS402 – Promote workplace cyber security awareness and best practices
- BSBTWK502 – Manage team effectiveness
- BSBCRT611 – Apply critical thinking for complex problem solving
- ICTICT608 – Interact with clients on a business level
- ICTICT618 – Manage IP, ethics and privacy in ICT environments
- ICTSAD609 – Plan and monitor business analysis activities in an ICT environment
- ICTICT522 – Evaluate vendor products and equipment
- ICTCYS604 – Implement best practices for identity management
- ICTCYS606 – Evaluate an organisation’s compliance with cyber security standards and law
- ICTCYS608 – Perform cyber security risk assessments
- ICTCYS612 – Design and implement virtualised cyber security infrastructure for organisations
- ICTNPL413 – Evaluate networking regulations and legislation for the telecommunications industry
- ICTNWK612 – Plan and manage troubleshooting advanced integrated IP networks
- ICTPMG613 – Manage ICT project planning
- ICTTEN615 – Manage network traffic
- ICTTEN622 – Produce ICT network architecture designs
Throughout the course, student will develop the skills and knowledge needed to:
- Analyze the strategic direction of an enterprise and develop ICT solutions to meet the enterprise’s needs.
- Plan, initiate, and manage complex ICT projects, including the integration of multiple ICT systems.
- Design and implement enterprise architecture and evaluate and recommend ICT solutions.
- Manage and communicate ICT solutions to stakeholders, manage vendors, and establish and maintain client user liaison.
- Implement change management processes, manage IT service delivery, and manage security, privacy, and compliance of cloud service solutions.
Upon completion of the Advanced Diploma of Information Technology ICT60220, student will have the skills and knowledge needed to lead and manage complex ICT projects and to analyze and develop ICT solutions to meet the needs of an enterprise. This qualification is recognized throughout Australia and can lead to a range of job opportunities in the field of IT, including roles such as IT Manager, ICT Security Manager, Cloud Solutions Architect, and ICT Project Manager.
