The AIAS Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care offers a fully accredited entry-level program to students wanting to gain access to the education sector as an aid or assistant. Students are introduced to everything they need to know within this fast-growing and in-demand area of the education sector via a combination of onsite training and work placement.

Students touch on various learning frameworks, pathway integration and program management whilst gaining a solid understanding of how these theoretical concepts work within their practical training onsite within childcare centres.

The Cert III qualification sets up students perfectly for continued education with the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

REQUIREMENTS

All applications from international students will be assessed against

the following criteria:

1. Age: Must be over 18. AIAS does not accept students under 18

years of age

2. English language requirements

• Entry to Certificate II- IV: IELTS 5 or equivalent

Entry into any level if the student has undertaken prior study in an educational institution where English was the medium of instruction: OR

• Entry into any level if the student has successfully completed at least 6 months of study in an Australian educational institution

3. Academic requirements

• Entry to Certificate II- IV: Year 10 or equivalent
