The Bachelor of Music – Creative Technology (Audio) is more than a traditional audio engineering program. You will go beyond the recording studio, learn how to become a successful audio practitioner and create a fulfilling career. You will learn proven theory and get practical experience as you record and create music in unique ways and gain professional skills.
TRAIN IN STATE-OF-THE-ART RECORDING STUDIOS
This specialisation equips you to become a songwriter, composer, producer or engineer. It covers all aspects of audio engineering and gives you first-hand experience with:
Cutting-edge audio technology and DAWs (digital audio workstations)
Vintage analogue instruments and recording equipment
Acoustically treated studio spaces for professional quality recording projects
High-end professional recording consoles
A community of songwriters, musicians and performers to collaborate with

REQUIREMENTS
For entry into all our Bachelor programs, you must have achieved ONE of the following:
Applicants with recent Higher Education (tertiary) study – at least 6 months full time (at Bachelor degree level or higher) from an internationally-accredited institution
Applicants with completed secondary education matriculation in the last 2 years (NSW HSC or recognised equivalent)
Mature age applicants (21+yrs) not meeting the above criteria but with sufficient previous work / life experience deemed relevant by AIM.
AND
All International Applicants must submit an IELTS (or Equivalent) of 6.0 with no overall band score less than 5.5 or failing that, have enrolled in an accredited English for Academic Purposes pathway program.
