Technological change is always happening, transforming business model norms and making those who can gather information, crunch numbers, and use data driven insights to improve business decision making highly sought after. With Bond’s Bachelor of Business Data Analytics, you will gain the analytical skills and be taught modern techniques, as well as their implementation via R and Python programming language capabilities, to improve business information-based decision-making across a wide range of industries.
As a Bond Business School student, you will have exclusive access to modern computing facilities via the Centre for Data Analytics, where you can extend to your data analytics knowledge with access to experts in the field. In addition, all students undertake a capstone group project unit which entails direct work on real industry-based data from Bond’s collaborative partners in such areas as healthcare, insurance, finance, sociodemographic and many others.
The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics program is focused on using data analytics techniques to improve business decision making. It is a quantitative program, combining elements of statistics, computing, big data and machine learning.
The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics is taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to facilities like the Bond University Business School’s Big Data Centre. The program develops students’ skills in the development and understanding of analytics and analytic techniques and focuses on how these techniques can be used to solve real-world business problems and better inform evidence-based decision making.
