Bond’s Bachelor of Communication combines the fundamentals of communication and media with in-depth studies in your choice of specialised fields such as advertising, public relations, journalism, or social media.
Develop knowledge and skills in strategic communication, written and oral presentations, interpersonal and intercultural communication, persuasion, content creation for online platforms, blogging and podcasting, and digital and social media. Bond offers 10 areas to choose from for your major/minor specialisations.

Our flexible Bachelor of Communication provides you with the opportunity to explore many options in personalising your learning. As part of the program, you will select one or two majors or minors in a specific area of interest. These areas include public relations, advertising, journalism, communication and society, corporate storytelling, creative writing, digital media, film and television, and social media. Our subjects contain assessments that may lead you to produce advertising and public relations campaigns for real clients as well as blogs, podcasts, published media stories, and websites. You will also gain insight into communication in various contexts, including interpersonal, intercultural, gender, and persuasive communication. Our graduates are now working with leading advertising agencies, as award-winning investigative journalists, in public relations consultancies, in marketing roles, in corporate training, and in other roles that reflect the evolving nature of communication practices. The Bachelor of Communication offers students the ideal mix of theory and practice, combining foundational studies in Communication and Media with focused studies in the professional disciplines of Public Relations, Advertising and Journalism.
