COURSE DESCRIPTION
Build a strong engineering foundation of knowledge with this Diploma (Higher Education) pathway that is spread over two stages. This structure ensures you can enter the second year of the Bachelor program with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed, in conjunction with smaller class sizes and specialised English language support.
During stage one, aspiring engineers engage in professional practices whilst focusing on the theory of physics, modelling and change before diving further into engineering elements of design and drafting, mechanics, computer modelling and algebra within stage two.
At the conclusion of stage two, graduates will have a solid grasp of the first year subjects and may continue to study at Federation University jumping straight into the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), eventually completing the undergraduate with both a diploma, undergraduate and honours qualification.
