It combines technical health knowledge with a foundation in advanced research and a critical analysis on how leadership and management skills can be applied to create transformative change in healthcare.
You’ll gain a foundation in the microbial basis of infection and the sciences of disease, including the mechanisms involved in the breakdown of homeostasis in the human body and their manifestation as a communicable disease. It also includes the epidemiology of classic and contemporary infectious diseases in national and international populations, including surveillance systems for control and prevention.
