COURSE DESCRIPTION

This program prepares clinicians to participate in and contribute to emerging models of primary maternity care. The program will provide an overview of the health environment including the development and implementation of policy in this area.

Please note that successful completion of this program does not lead to eligibility to apply for registration as a midwife. Prospective students seeking eligibility to apply for registration as a midwife should refer to the Bachelor of Midwifery (1354).

ATTENDANCE INFORMATION

This program is offered part-time only via online delivery and can be completed over two or three trimesters depending upon the courses completed within the program. This program is only available to International students studying off-shore.

Pathways to further study

Students with a Graduate Certificate in Primary Maternity Care may apply for admission to the Master of Primary Maternity Care (5655).
