COURSE DESCRIPTION

BSB60420 – Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management reflects the role of individuals with significant experience in a senior administrative role who are seeking to further develop expertise as a leader and manager in their chosen field. The qualification will equip individuals with significant theoretical business skills and knowledge and help them to consolidate and build pathways to further educational or employment opportunities at a more senior level.

Graduates of the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management course will be able to seek employment in the following areas:

Senior Manager

Senior Administrator

EDUCATION PATHWAYS

Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into a range of higher education qualifications in business or management.

CAREER OUTCOMES

Graduates at this level will have broad knowledge and skills for paraprofessional/highly skilled work and/or further learning. Students who complete this course can expect to gain work as a Senior Administrator or Senior Manager within a range of industry areas.

REQUIREMENTS

Students are required to:

Be at least 18 years of age on commencement of the course
Have completed Year 12 (or equivalent) of secondary schooling

And Either

Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).

OR

Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or
leadership role in an enterprise.

English Proficiency – students must:

meet ONE the following English proficiency requirements for this course:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.5
TOEFL internet-based test 46

TOEFL paper-based test 527
Cambridge English: Advanced (Certificate in Advanced English) 162
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) 42

OR

be able to provide any of the following evidence of English Language competence:

that they were educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country.
that they have successfully completed their Year 12 or equivalent in English Language.
Have LLN skills at ACSF level 3
