Our practice-oriented Bachelor of Security Studies will prepare you to meet the needs of this rapidly changing sector by teaching you about security from a range of perspectives, including risk management, emergency response, national resilience, business continuity planning, law enforcement and the use of military force. And by learning to think critically and develop solutions by using real-world analytical techniques to examine contemporary security challenges, you’ll gain key employability skills. The Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Sciences will prepare you for postgraduate study towards a career in a number of professions, including clinical work or research in audiology and speech and language pathology, forensic speech science, the development of associated speech and hearing technologies, or teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).
