COURSE DESCRIPTION

Aspire to work in the industry that you love!! Imagine working with sport and fitness minded people all striving for a healthy lifestyle. If this is your dream, come to us and do a Diploma of Sport and Recreation Management, either on campus or online.
This course focuses on the skills required to work in the sports and fitness industry in a management or organisational capacity.

After completion you will have the confidence to work as a manager in either a fitness centre, sporting grounds or complexes, leisure and aquatic centres, or community recreation centres. Or you can work within the mining sector organising sporting events for their FIFO workers or be involved in the varied number of marathons worldwide. The opportunities are endless and the skills can also assist in any coaching role you may have or aspire to have.

REQUIREMENTS

Year 10 High School certificate or equivalent OR Certificate IV in a relevant qualification OR Mature aged student with relevant workplace experience

Entry Requirement

English level: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent / Basic computer skills and access to a desktop or laptop with sufficient internet speed to undertake online studies
