Grow your skills through a mix of on-campus learning and 120 days of real-world placements in childcare, kindergarten and primary school settings.
Learn from supportive and encouraging academics while applying your knowledge in our unique on-site early childhood room.
Our Bachelor of Education has an incredible success rate with all graduates from last year now employed in the education sector. This qualification will qualify you to apply for dual registration as a Kindergarten and Primary teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
CAREER PATHWAYS
Where will the Bachelor of Education (Early Years and Primary) take me?
This qualification will allow you to apply for dual registration (Kindergarten and Primary) with the VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching). You can also work as an educator (room leader) in a long day care children’s service or as a co-educator (assistant) in kindergarten.
Study Pathways
Successful completion of this course may enable you to study for a post-graduate qualification.
REQUIREMENTS
Australian Year 12 equivalency, to include studies equivalent to VCE Units 1 and 2 Mathematics.
English: Academic IELTS 7.0 or Melbourne Polytechnic recognised equivalency with no individual band below 7.0.
