This qualification reflects accounting job roles in financial services and other industries, including tax agents, accounts payable and accounts receivable officers, payroll service providers, and employees performing a range of accounting tasks for organisations in a range of industries. Individuals in these roles apply solutions to a range of often complex
problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They apply initiative to plan, coordinate and evaluate their own work and provide guidance to others within defined guidelines.

This qualification includes units that comprise an approved Tax Practitioner Board (TPB) course in Australian taxation law and commercial law, which are relevant for registration as a tax agent. Persons seeking registration with the TPB should check current registration requirements with the TPB, as registration requirements are reviewed regularly.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must meet the following requirements and prerequisite to enter this course. Students must be of 18 years of age at the time of course commencement.
Academic Entry Requirements
Students must have completed at least an Australian year 12 equivalent. Depending on the nationality of the student year 11 (Australian equivalent year 11) may be sufficient.
For Mature Age students who do not hold any qualification, they must pass the Internal LLN / English Placement test
English Language Requirements
Where English is not the official language in the country of where students are currently residing, evidence of a valid IELTS 5.5 or equivalent must be provided. Students will also complete an online English level placement test prior to enrolment.
A Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment is conducted on all entrants prior to enrolment into the program to ensure that Queensford College can support each student throughout the program.
