This course gives you a broad base of knowledge, skills and experiences to explore a wide range of career options within the film, television and digital media industries. Education double degrees offer qualifications that can set you on the path to pursue a range of careers across many industries and the education sector.

In this double degree students complete the requirements for two separate degrees in four and a half years. The course consists of units in fine arts and education.
In the Bachelor of Education component students are prepared as teachers with specialist understandings for secondary school learners in two teaching and learning discipline areas, with one teaching area based on your film, screen and new media major. For the other teaching area you can choose one of:
- English
- geography
- history or
- mathematics.
Our Film, Screen and New Media course gives you a broad base of knowledge, skills and experiences to explore a wide range of career options within the film, television and digital media industries before specialising in an area of your choice.
From your first year, you’ll collaborate with students and teaching staff from across disciplines to reflect industry practice, and work on real-world projects briefed by real clients, along with career planning assistance to help you on your creative journey.
And, at the most technically advanced creative space in Australia, you can develop your creativity and collaborate and exhibit in technology-equipped spaces. End-of-year showcase events, performances and exhibitions are an important feature of all courses, and are celebrated by friends, family, industry and the arts community.

In the Bachelor of Education component you will learn to innovate and incorporate digital technologies in your teaching.
