COURSE DESCRIPTION
This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, coordinating and/or delivering of person-centered services to individuals, groups and communities.
Workers are usually providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
AS PART OF THIS COURSE, YOU WILL TAKE PART IN THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
An organized industry work placement (minimum 100 hours)
Participate in practical activities in our simulated training environment

REQUIREMENTS
To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, candidates need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Certificate IV level, this can be demonstrated via the following:

Minimum of IELTS 5.5 with no individual component score less than 5.0 or equivalent

Over 18 years of age at the commencement of the course.

Pre-training review to assess individual needs and that the individual can demonstrate ACSF working level 3 for all indicators.

Basic computer skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Mature age (at least 18 years of age)
To gain this qualification, successful completion of a practical placement is required
To participate in the placement, students are required to produce a satisfactory Victoria Police Records Check and Working with Children Check.
