REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are required to have one of the following:
a Bachelor (Honours) (AQF level 8) or a Bachelor (AQF level 7) degree in any of following disciplines: Engineering (Civil/ Construction); Building; Architecture; Quantity Surveying; Construction Management; Other related engineering/ technology disciplines assessed to be appropriate,
OR an Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma (AQF level 6) in one of the above-mentioned cognate fields plus 3 years relevant work experience in the construction management domain;
OR a Diploma (AQF level 5) in a cognate field plus 5 years relevant work experience in the construction management domain;
OR a Bachelor degree (AQF level 7 or 8) in any discipline plus 5 years relevant work experience in the construction management domain
English language requirements
Satisfactory completion of one of the following:
- Swinburne’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70%, all skills 65%
- minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
- Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 58 (no communicative skills less than 50)
- TOEFL iBT (internet-based) -79 (no less than 13 in reading, 12 in listening, 18 in speaking 21 in writing)
- C1 Advanced – 176, no band less than 169
- any other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency.
