Overview
The BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Course Outcome
As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level are likely to provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They may also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of teams.
They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Students who have completed relevant studies or have some of the competencies in the course may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Application for RPL can be made with the initial application or can be made within two weeks of the course.

Students who complete this course may wish to further their study into the Diploma of Leadership and Management or a range of Diploma qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS
- Year 12 (HSC)
- Age- 18 Years or Above
- Academic IELTS 6.0 overall, no less than 5.5 in each band, or upper intermediate, or EAP from approved ELICOS/ESL centre or evidence of completing a VET course at Certificate IV or above the level in Australia.
- Students who do not meet the English requirement as above must sit for an LLN Test.
