Take the next step in your career in education by adding to your foundation knowledge with this intermediate qualification. This course is perfect for people looking to progress their career as a teacher aide, working in public or private schools.
According to the Australian Government’s Job Outlook service the number of people working as teacher aides is expected to see very strong growth in the coming years. This is a very large occupation with around 85,000 job openings expected over the next five years.
This course gives you the skills needed to support students in literacy and numeracy, the specific learning needs of individual students, and to work with students with a disability. Our highly experienced team of industry professionals will give you the tools you need to support students and teachers in the classroom setting.
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as a teacher aide across various school settings. It will also give you the skills you need to undertake further studies in education.

REQUIREMENTS
Academic Requirements: Completion of Year 10 (or equivalent). Non school-leavers must have relevant work experience or qualification that indicates likely success of course completion.
International students who are under 18 years of age and are applying for a student visa are required by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs to have adequate welfare arrangements in place.
Academic IELTS 5.5 (no individual band less than 5.0) or ISLPR 2+ on all skills or other; iBT score of 46 with 8 in Reading /7 in Learning and 18 in writing /16 in speaking; PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) overall score of 42 with Reading /Learning /writing /speaking score of 36; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) score of 162.
