Activate your career in screen and media with this diploma qualification. This course is ideal for creative people seeking employment in post-production, including areas such as video editing, 3D modelling, 3D animation and Visual Effects.
According to the Australian Government’s Job Outlook service, there’s very strong job growth predicted in both production, animation and visual effects industries.
This course will give you the advanced skills required to work within this creatively challenging sector. Enhance your skills and job prospects by choosing to specialise in post-production and learn how to edit video, develop concept art and create, texture and animate 3D models. You will also learn how to composite green screen footage, create titles, make set extensions and create visual effects.

University pathways
If you want to go on to further study at university, TAFE Queensland has a pathway option to get you there. In many cases, completing one of our diplomas may give you a full year of credit towards a degree with one of our partner universities.
REQUIREMENTS
The following selection criteria requirements apply only to international students:
Academic Requirements: Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent). Non-school-leavers must have relevant work experience or qualification that indicates likely success of course completion.
International students who are under 18 years of age and are applying for a student visa are required by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs to have adequate welfare arrangements in place.
Academic IELTS 5.5 (no individual band less than 5.0) or ISLPR 2+ on all skills or other; iBT score of 46 with 8 in Reading /7 in Learning and 18 in writing /16 in speaking; PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) overall score of 42 with Reading /Learning /writing /speaking score of 36; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) score of 162.
