COURSE DESCRIPTION

Unlock endless career opportunities with our industry-focused and innovative Bachelor of Business (Accounting). This course is built around real-world projects, internships and industry engagement. You will gain a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to prepare for long-term careers in the accounting industry.

This course involves active experiential learning. You will work on real-life projects with peers and industry-based teachers in a creative learning environment where everyone has a voice and everyone makes a contribution.

You could be part of the finance team that’s working to launch a new tech business. Get involved with budget planning for a startup. Research the financial consequences of an ageing population on a business’s bottom line. Or help an accounting firm forecast the financial impact of global warming for big business. You can engage in all this and more in your studies at Macleay – the variety of interesting projects are endless!

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be over 18 years of age when applying.

Applicants must have:

Valid evidence of English proficiency

IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5) or equivalent

Academic Qualifications (testamur/transcripts) such as completing Australian Year 12 equivalent or AQF Level 4 or higher

Macleay College is an educational provider with campuses based in Sydney and Melbourne. Some of the study options on offer include the Diploma of Advertising & media; the Diploma of Marketing; the Diploma of Digital Media; and the Diploma of Journalism. It is home to 400 students and offers students a hands-on, personalised study experience- with internships being a part of its educational programs. At the College, students will be taught by staff who are working professionals in the fields they are teaching.
