The Environmental Management Major tackles important issues such as climate change, urbanisation, and the need for water and food security. The skills and knowledge acquired are relevant to many workplaces, making environmental management a growth employment area.
Why study this major?
This Major equips you to work with complex environmental systems through the study of ecology, biodiversity, physical geography, natural resource management, environmental impact assessment, and the application of spatial analysis.
Understanding and preserving our natural environment are essential to maintain quality of life for current and future generations. Key skills and knowledge to succeed in these fields are developed in this Major.
Graduates can influence the direction of future government policy and agricultural and business practices to provide solutions to global warming, biodiversity conservation concerns, water resourcing issues and environmental degradation problems.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet High school qualifications (or equivalent) to apply for undergraduate program. Academic minimum entry requirements for international applicants vary from country to country.
IELTS (Academic) – 6.5 overall, with no individual band score lower than 6.0; CAE/CPE – 176 overall, with no individual band score lower than 169; PTE Academic – 58 overall, with no individual band score lower than 50; TOEFL (iBT) – 84 overall, with no score lower than 21 in writing and no other band score lower than 17.
