COURSE DESCRIPTION

The diploma of mental health program offered by TMG College Australia is designed to provide the students with the opportunity to acquire practical work experience while enhancing their knowledge and skills in the field of mental health.

Students will be introduced to the following main learning areas within this qualification:

How to correctly provide systems advocacy services.

How to correctly work collaboratively with the care network and other services.

How to correctly provide early intervention, health prevention and promotion programs.

How to correctly provide support to develop wellness plans and advanced directives.

How to correctly implement trauma informed care.

REQUIREMENTS

Students must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Age: must be 18 years or over
  • English Proficiency Level: an IELTS Band 5.5 or equivalent OR undertake a TMG College Australia English language test.
  • Successful completion of Year 12 or its equivalent
