Development, poverty, inequality and environmental sustainability are some of the most important issues in the world today. Study the causes and consequences of unequal development. Assess policy options for a more equitable and sustainable future.
This program is the only development studies program in Australia to include economics and Aboriginal studies as core courses.
Through social science, analyse, challenge, and gain an insight into global theories. Cover life cycle, gender, class, race, work and social justice. Gain an understanding of global inequality development with a grounding in social science theory and practice.
