- Become a leading workplace specialist with UniSQ’s Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) and learn to develop people and culture strategies that contribute value to an organisation’s mission, goals, and bottom line.
- Study your HR courses online from wherever and whenever it suits you or at our Toowoomba or Springfield campus.
- Your studies cover workforce design and navigating employment relations, supporting employee performance and influencing change.
- Connect with industry partners and work on real-life issues and case studies as well as a group project in your final year of study.
- You can complete this degree in two years with our accelerated pathway option, by studying four courses every trimester in six consecutive trimesters. There is also the option to study full-time over three years or study part-time over six years.
Further study
If you’re interested in postgraduate study, you can go on to study the Master of Business Administration (MBA) or the Master of Business (provided that you meet all the entry requirements).
Professional accreditation
UniSQ is seeking accreditation for the Human Resource Management major by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Upon accreditation approval, this major will satisfy the educational requirements for professional membership of AHRI.

- As a graduate from the HRM major, you will have the skills and knowledge to strategically influence organisational policies and processes that support the vision of the business.
- Graduates can find job opportunities in private consultancy services related to all aspects of human resources, in addition to advocacy work with industrial relations consultancies, unions, and industry and employer associations.
- Graduates also have the potential to achieve senior and executive level positions such as human resources director, organisational development director, compensation and benefits director, industrial relations director, recruitment manager, career counsellor, safety and welfare coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must have Australian year 12 level or equivalent.
Students from different country must have qualifications equivalent to Australia.
English language requirements
IELTS (Academic only) – Overall minimum score of 6.0 and no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL (internet based) – Overall minimum score of 80 and no individual skills score of less than 19; Pearson (PTE Academic) – Overall score of 50 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 50; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency – Overall minimum score of 169 with no less than 162 in each skill.
