Overview
Advance your understanding of visual arts theory, cultural competency and artistic practice.
Critically analyse a range of historical and contemporary artistic and cultural issues and explore their impact on communities and the broader society.
Complete a dissertation under supervision in your area of interest.
Career outcomes
This degree will further your skills, giving you the edge that you need to succeed as a practising artist, secondary school teacher (with further study), art critic, librarian, curator or in the areas of arts administration, studio and gallery management, community arts and arts research.

REQUIREMENTS
Completion of a bachelor degree, or equivalent, in creative arts or a related discipline, with a minimum Grade Point Average of 5.0.
English language requirements
IELTS (Academic only) – Overall minimum score of 6.0 and no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL (internet based) – Overall minimum score of 80 and no individual skills score of less than 19; Pearson (PTE Academic) – Overall score of 50 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 50; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency – Overall minimum score of 169 with no less than 162 in each skill.
