Overview

Expand your ability to develop innovative technological solutions with a highly regarded networking engineering degree. You’ll develop the expertise and skillset required of professionals working in network engineering jobs.
Understand the fundamentals of wireless networking – gain hands-on experience in configuring wireless devices and explore a range of mobile technologies.
Advance your knowledge in routing and switching concepts and learn to troubleshoot issues in routed and switched networks.
Study your way – benefit from flexible study options and the ability to study online.

Further study

When you complete the Graduate Diploma of Information Technology, you could take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Master of Information Technology.

Degree structure

To complete this degree students must complete 8 units. Most courses (similar to ‘subjects’) are valued at 1 unit. To study full-time you would usually complete 4 units per semester.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of an Australian university three-year bachelor degree, or equivalent. or
  • A minimum of five years’ professional work experience equivalent to a qualification at AQF Level 7.

IELTS (Academic only) – Overall minimum score of 6.0 and no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL (internet based) – Overall minimum score of 80 and no individual skills score of less than 19; Pearson (PTE Academic) – Overall score of 50 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 50; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency – Overall minimum score of 169 with no less than 162 in each skill.
