Overview

  • UniSQ’s Graduate Diploma of Professional Engineering (Environmental Engineering) is ideal if you have a three-year engineering degree and you want to extend your knowledge and practical experience in environmental engineering at a postgraduate level.
  • Through this eight-unit degree, you will do a combination of advanced study and practice of environmental engineering, empowering you to apply engineering solutions to environmental problems.
  • This specialisation is unique because it focuses on the sustainable management of Australia’s vital soil and water resources.

Further study

When you complete your Graduate Diploma of Professional Engineering you could take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Master of Professional Engineering where you will have the opportunity to do a research project and dissertation to apply your formal knowledge to a real world issue.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Australian university three or four-year Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in engineering in the relevant specialisation (major). or
  • Completion of an appropriate four-year embedded honours Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in engineering in a non-related specialisation (major field).

IELTS (Academic only) – Overall minimum score of 6.5 and no individual band score of less than 6.0; TOEFL (internet based) – Overall minimum score of 90 and no individual skills score of less than 20; Pearson (PTE Academic) – Overall score of 58 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 58; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency – Overall minimum score of 185 with no less than 185 in each skill.
