Many lawyers find that knowledge of the arts and media is extremely useful in their practice. From something as simple as pursuing two seemingly different passions to a career defending and promoting free press and artistic expression, this double degree offers many exciting career opportunities.
The Bachelor of Laws equips you with a comprehensive legal education. This world-class degree provides you with a thorough grounding in the law, the social and ethical context in which law operates, while equipping you with essential practical skills including an internship and integrated skills program.
In the Bachelor of Creative Arts, you will gain the skills to become a practicing artist; to develop practical skills in your chosen discipline, as well as the theoretical knowledge to understand how creative art functions in contemporary cultural, political and artistic environments.
A double degree at UOW provides a world-class qualification in less time and at less cost than studying the two degrees separately. Having a double degree will give you a competitive advantage in a crowded job market.

Accreditation & professional recognition: The UOW Bachelor of Laws is accredited by the Bar Council of India and the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. Students from India and Bangladesh are encouraged to apply. Graduates can be accredited to practice as a barrister or solicitor upon returning home, subject to the completion of any required bridging course.
