SHB50216 DIPLOMA OF SALON MANAGEMENT The Australasia International School has a working CLINIC for its Beauty and Massage therapy students where clients pay forrespective services. Most of ourtrainer assessors work in or have their own business’s and clinics. COURSE OUTCOMES This qualification reflects the role of senior managers and small business owners of personal services businesses. They are responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation of the business and for planning, monitoring and evaluating the work of the team. Salon managers also operate with significant autonomy to make strategic business management decisions. This qualification provides a pathway to work as a salon manager in any type of personal service business including hairdressing or beauty salons, barber shops and spas. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES Graduates will be able to work as a salon manager in any type of personal service business including hairdressing or beauty salons, barber shops and spas. COURSE CONTENT The Diploma of Salon Management requires the completion of 10 units of competency including 7 core units and 3 electives.

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who: • Be at least 18 years of age and have completed Year 12 or equivalent. • Complete the AIS Pre-enrolment suitability form to determine suitability for the course and student needs. • Have an IELTS* score of 5.5 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old).
