The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context.

Further training pathways from this qualification may lead to the following Certificate IV level qualification

CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)

JOB ROLES

Occupational titles may include:

  • Painter and decorator.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 years of age or above.
  • Completed year 11 (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5.5 IELTS score or equivalent; and
  • Successful completion of the appropriate internal Learning Assessment

Pathways into the Qualification

This qualification may be accessed by direct entry. Credit will be granted towards this qualification by those who have completed CPC20112 Certificate II in Construction or other relevant qualifications.
