Course Overview
This qualification reflects the role of trade qualification required for carpenters in residential and commercial workplaces. This qualification covers occupations and job roles in general and off-site construction, plumbing and services, from entry-level to management.
Career Pathways
Possible job titles, but not limited to: Carpenter (Commercial or Residential) or Formworker
Learning Outcomes
Learn how to construct, install, finish and repair structures and fixtures working with a range of tools, equipment and materials
Study Pathways
– CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction or a CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction.
– Higher education programs such as an Undergraduate or Associate Degree program in Building Design.
Delivery Mode
Classroom and practical based face-to-face and self-directed.
REQUIREMENTS
Academic Entry Requirement:
Satisfactory completion of Year 10 or equivalent schooling and be at least 18 years of age
English Entry Requirement:
IELTS: 5.5 overall with each band 5 or above, or equivalent.
Qualifications recognised by Alliance college as equivalent to an IELTS 5.5 overall score upon completion are as published
