COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Bachelor of Business Transformation prepares students to implement and drive organizational change and successful transformation in a world of unprecedented disruption and market turbulence. The course prepares students in the use of data that help inform vision, drive strategy, measure outcomes and respond to customer needs.

The course has a strong focus on the underlying operating models of traditional versus digital businesses, complemented with skills in the use of different analytics tools to build and analyse business intelligence. An understanding of customer experience methodologies and strategies is taught beside the business process management skills to effect and measure transformation.

Course Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this program, graduates will be able to:

Apply a broad and coherent body of knowledge of

business concepts to design and implement a business transformation strategy in response to current and future market environments.

Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the relationships between critical organizational functions and business processes through identifying where change could occur.

Engage with complex business scenarios to examine the professional and ethical implications evident in a digital and business environment.

Demonstrate engagement in independent learning, maintaining currency and undertaking continuing professional development in their field.

Engage effectively and professionally in a workplace, demonstrating the ability to(a) collaborate within a team, (b) communicate clearly, coherently and independently, and

Demonstrate innovation and creativity, critical thinking, and professional judgement in analysing and interpreting business intelligence in order to identify and solve problems in an organisational change environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Successful completion of year 12 with studies in English or equivalent. Age 18 and above

Applicants with recent secondary school education (within the past two years).

Note: If you do not meet the above criteria, then AIA considers successful completion of at least one unit of study in an accredited higher education program.

Study pre-requisite: Studies equivalent to Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) units 3 and 4 with a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

For admission to undergraduate courses, international students who have not completed an Australian qualification must have appropriate educational qualifications, deemed by the AIA to be equivalent to an Australian Year 12 certificate.

English proficiency can be demonstrated by an English proficiency test. Minimum requirement is IELTS 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent.

TOFEL IBT overall score of 60 with R:13, L:12, S:18, W:21.

Pearson Test of Academic English – 50 with no skill score below 50.

Cambridge English Scale – 169 with no sub-score below 169

Occupational English Test No grade lower than ‘C’ in any of the sub-tests.
