Becoming A Bookkeeper
To become a registered Bookkeeper you need to hold a minimum of a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and also register with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).
The TPB will assess your qualifications and experience to ensure you satisfy the requirements outlined in the Tax Agent Services Regulations 2009 (TASR). More information on this can be found here.

FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping is assessed under the Principles of Competency-based training, students have to demonstrate their ability to do all activities in each Unit of Competency. There are 13 Units of Competency in this course.
