Throughout the course, student will develop the skills and knowledge needed to:

  • Establish and maintain environmental, safety, and health management systems.
  • Develop detailed design of civil components, including rural and urban roads, water retaining structures, and stormwater and sewerage systems.
  • Develop detailed design of traffic management plans and railway infrastructure.
  • Develop detailed design of earthworks and pavements.
  • Establish and maintain a quality system and lead and manage organizational change.

Upon completion of the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design RII60520, student will have the skills and knowledge needed to design civil construction projects in a range of contexts, including rural and urban infrastructure projects. This qualification is recognized throughout Australia and can lead to a range of job opportunities in civil construction design, including roles such as Civil Construction Designer, Senior Civil Engineer, and Project Manager.
