COURSE DESCRIPTION

This qualification is tailored to the experienced automotive professional by further preparing automotive industry workers with an in-depth knowledge of diagnosing, analysing, evaluating and modifying light vehicles.

This qualification is suitable for International Students who wish to study in Australia and develop skills and knowledge within the automotive repair industry. Students are required to hold a current Australian visa with study rights to commence this course.

All students are required to undertake practical training as part of their course in the practical training area of the college-owned commercial workshop.

REQUIREMENTS

18 years of age and over

Computer skills and your own personal computer to complete the assessments electronically

Proficiency in English (Minimum 6.0 in IELTS or equivalent or completed an Australian Qualification Certificate IV or higher within the past 2 years)

Must have completed AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis

Students must hold a current Australian visa or Bridging visa with study rights prior to commencing the course.
