COURSE DESCRIPTION

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have general management accountabilities.

Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise. They may undertake technical research and analysis, and will often contribute to setting the strategic direction for a work area. The qualification is suited to individuals who are responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team or work area (including by managing staff performance and making staffing decisions).

OUTCOMES

On successful completion of this course the student would be awarded BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business which is nationally recognised qualification. This could help student gain entry into career paths or higher education in Business stream. Students who do not complete all units may be eligible for a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of a BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business.

PATHWAY

Participants are provided with advice on employment and training options throughout the delivery of the program.
Learners exiting this qualification may choose to progress with further studies by undertaking one or more of the following qualifications:

  • A range of other qualifications at Advanced Diploma level
  • A range of other qualifications at Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership.
  • Possible entry to university degree subject to acceptance of the student by the university.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years of age

Have completed the equivalent of Year 12

Have English proficiency of IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent
