COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Master of International Tourism and Hotel Management helps graduates prepare for the next step in their career in the global tourism and hotel industry. You will develop skills essential for managerial-level graduates including advanced business acumen, strategic insight, high-level management skills and specialised industry knowledge – underscored by sustainability principles.
You will build on your core business skills in areas such as financial planning, hospitality management and marketing and enhance these with an understanding of how to manage in a culturally diverse context.
As a graduate, you will emerge as a confident leader, sensitive to the complex issues and challenges within the global tourism and hotel industry.
ATTENDANCE INFORMATION
This program is offered at the Gold Coast campus full-time across four trimesters including Trimester 3 and courses are offered in intensive mode.
This program is also offered Online.
You may choose to study courses at other campuses where the program structure allows. You may also choose to study the program part-time.
If you are an International student on a student visa, you must ensure that you enrol in a way that will allow you to complete your enrolment within the expected program duration as stated on your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).

REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for admission to the Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management, a student must:
- hold any Bachelor degree (or equivalent) from a recognised university (or another tertiary institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale), OR
- hold a related Bachelor degree (or higher) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale)
Students with a related Bachelor degree will receive 40 credit points of advanced standing for the foundation courses.
English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:
- A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0
- OR a minimum score of 575 on TOEFL
- OR an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19)
- OR no score less than 3+ in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by ISLPR Language Services only)
- OR a minimum overall score of 176 (no score less than 169) on C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English) or C2 Proficiency (formerly Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English)
- OR an overall score of 58 in the Pearson Test of English (Academic) with no score less than 50.
