CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood and Education Care

This qualification reflects the role of educators in early childhood education and care who work in regulated children’s education services in Australia. Educators at this level are responsible for designing and implementing a curriculum that meets the requirements of an approved learning framework and maintaining compliance in other areas of service operations. They use specialised knowledge and analyse and apply theoretical concepts to diverse situations. They may have responsibility for the supervision of volunteers or other educators.

Have completed Year 12 education or equivalent

Have obtained an IELTS band score of at least 5.5 or equivalent English certification. Otherwise assessed by HIC as having the proficiency to meet the course requirements; or

Have completed a Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma level Training Package course in Australia;

Above 18 years of age
