COURSE DESCRIPTION

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialized knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.

They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyze and synthesize information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

Course Structure

The BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management requires the successful completion of five (5) core units and five (5) elective units. Electives for this qualification have been chosen by Infinite Learning Institute to ensure that students achieve a broad range of skills and knowledge in leadership and management.

REQUIREMENTS

Infinite Learning Institute has the following entry requirements: International students must:

Be at least 18 years of age

Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions) or Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

Have an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:

Educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or

Completed at least 6 months of a minimum Certificate IV level or higher course in an Australian RTO or education institute; or

Successful completion of an English Placement Test or evidence of undertaking relevant ELICOS program.

Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. You are required to provide your results so that we can confirm they are equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
