COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will give you the skills and knowledge to deliver, manage and coordinate a person-centred service to individuals, groups, and communities. You will learn specialised skills in community services to work autonomously within the scope of practice under broad directions from senior management. As well as how to support people to make change in their lives to improve personal and social wellbeing and learn how to take responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers.

REQUIREMENTS

International students must be at least 18 years of age

Students must demonstrate English language proficiency at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent

Students must have an Australian Higher School Certificate or equivalent

Student must pass the Police check in the state or territory you are planning to work in, prior to work placement.

Student must have vaccinations against infectious disease prior to work placement.
