The Bachelor of Economics will provide you with a sound understanding of today’s complex economic environment and the skills to design economic systems that promote welfare, fairness and sustainability. You’ll learn about how modern economies operate, trade and grow; the role of prices and markets in allocating scarce resources; and the sorts of policy interventions that can be introduced when economic outcomes are less than optimal. The hallmark of Macquarie’s Bachelor of Laws is its recognition of the way legal frameworks underpin such global issues. You’ll be challenged to think critically about the law to seek innovative solutions to legal problems – skills highly valued by employers.
