COURSE DESCRIPTION

The AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology reflects the role of individuals who service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components in vehicles in the automotive electrical service and repair industry.

Qualifications Pathway:

After successfully AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology, students may apply for:

AUR40620 Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology

This program will be delivered face to face in the classroom and an automotive workshop. There is also an online support session of four hours per week. The program will be delivered over 68 weeks (holiday inclusive) with 20 contact hours per week which includes theory education in the classroom and practical training in the fully equipped workshop facility in accordance with a structured approach which meets the requirements of the qualification.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be of a minimum age of 18+ at the time of course commencement.

Satisfactorily complete a minimum of Year 10 or equivalent (subject to the assessment and approval of the Paragon Polytechnic’s admission team).

English Language Requirements – IELTS (Academic) overall score of 5.5 or TOEFL IBT 46 or Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 162 or PTE Academic 42 or equivalent.

Applicants originating from student visa assessment levels 1 and 2 countries without the required IELTS or equivalent score must undertake the Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test online to achieve ACSF level 3.
