At PSC, our No 1 rated Bachelor of Photography degree in Australia will prepare you for a career as an innovative and successful professional photographer.
Throughout the bachelor degree you will discover and be immersed in the enormous possibilities of image making in the 21st century!
Starting with a strong focus on ideas, technique and hands-on approaches to your image making you will be guided through digital workflow, image composition and creative output.
As your creative vision gathers momentum you will expand your photography to include more complex lighting, narrative, content production and video and moving image.
In the final year of your Bachelor of Photography, you select a major in either commercial photography, photojournalism or art photograph. You will be mentored closely, and linked to the photographic industry in very tangible ways and guided through the professional and business practices you’ll need to establish your career.
Mentoring, attendance at overseas photography festivals, meeting international practitioners and completion of real-world projects, combined with our expert practicing teaching staff, ensures that you will graduate career ready in your chosen field with strong professional photography connections.
In your final year of the Bachelor of Photography, you select a major in either commercial photography, photojournalism or art photography.

REQUIREMENTS
YEAR 12 APPLICANTS
- Current Year 12 or equivalent
Successful completion of VCE or equivalent
NON YEAR 12 APPLICANTS
- Applicants with some higher education study
- Applicants with some vocational education and training study (VET)
- Applicants with relevant work and life experience
English language proficiency: IELTS (Academic Module): Overall score 6.0 (no band less than 6.0); TOEFL Internet: Test score 65; Pearson Test of English (PTE): Overall score 50-57 (no section score less than 50); Cambridge Test – Total score of 169.
