RGIT Australia’s Certificate IV in Business course provides students with relevant skills and knowledge needed for performing administrative and entry-level business positions. Students will develop foundation skills in business operations, marketing as well as administration, while also gaining technical skills. If you are keen to start climbing the ladder to your career success, this course will help you dive head-first into the complex and dynamic world of business.
As a part of this course, you will learn about several key theories. These include implementing WHS policies, procedures and programs, risk identification and management, coordinating the implementing customer service strategies, developing and using complex spreadsheets and making dynamic presentations that your audience will remember. You will learn to apply solutions to a range of unforeseen problems by analysing and evaluating information from a variety of sources. You will also learn basic leadership skills.
Certificate IV in Business is ideal for individuals looking to develop broad business knowledge that meets a variety of career requirements, including administration and basic project management skills.
Course Description
Certificate IV in Business reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts. Students will learn to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. The course will encourage students to gain an understanding of the appropriate business work practices required to competently undertake their roles and responsibilities in the business workplace. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

REQUIREMENTS
All international students must be at least 18 years of age or above at the time of the course commencement to study at RGIT Australia.
Satisfactory completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 11 or Certificate III or higher
International students, applying either off-shore or on-shore will require:
i) Either a minimum IELTS (General) test score of 5.5 or equivalent for direct entry into a VET course, or IELTS score of 4.5 or equivalent with a General English (ELICOS) course (up to 30 weeks) to be taken before the main VET course plus successful completion of RGIT Australia’s Language and Numeracy Test on completion of General English (ELICOS) program.
Results older than two years are not acceptable.
OR
ii) Evidence that they have studied in English for at least five years in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom or United States
OR
iii) Evidence that, within two years of their application date, they have successfully completed in Australia a foundation course or a senior secondary certificate of education or a substantial part of a Certificate IV or higher level qualification, from the Australian Qualifications Framework.
OR
iv) Applicants originating from students visa assessment levels 1 and 2 (countries) without the required IELTS score must undertake an English Placement Test conducted at RGIT Australia’s campus as part of the enrolment process.
