Combine cutting-edge digital practices with internationally-renowned art and craft studio disciplines in the Bachelor of Design.
Design students will benefit from deep immersion in digital, manual and theoretical studies and a wide overview of creative practices. From coding, to making, to manufacture, students apply hands-on design to digital and physical materials. Students delve into web design, data visualisation, and interaction design, and experiment in studios to develop expertise in the latest digital form and fabrication processes.
This degree prepares students with transferable knowledge and skills required to make their mark on a rapidly changing world.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants who complete a recognised secondary/senior secondary/post-secondary/tertiary sequence of study will be assessed on the basis of an equivalent selection rank that is calculated upon application.
Entry to the Bachelor of Design is based on completion of an Australian Year 12 or (international) equivalent. An interview and portfolio assessment also form part of the admissions requirement. Once an application for the Bachelor program has been lodged, applicants are required to register for an interview and upload a portfolio on the ANU School of Art and Design website.
English Language Requirements
IELTS Academic and IELTS UKVI Academic [excluding One Skill Retake and IELTS Online] – Overall score of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band.
TOEFL iBT [excluding Home Edition] – Overall score of 80 (Reading – 20; Writing – 20; Listening – 18; Speaking – 18).
Cambridge C1 Advanced – Overall score of 176 minimum 169 in each band.
PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI [excluding PTE Academic Online] – Overall score of 64 minimum 55 in each band.
