This program is designed to produce chefs and cooks who have a supervisory or team leading role in the kitchen and use a wide range of well-developed cookery skills and sound knowledge of kitchen operations to prepare food and menu items.
Pathways after program completion
On completion of this course, you may take up further study in
Diploma of Hospitality Management or
May gain work as a chef or trade cook
REQUIREMENTS
– Over 18 years of age on course commencement
– English language proficiency – An IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent
– Successful completion of documentation including evidence of Completion of year 11 or equivalent
– Completion of a Pre-Training Review including LLN* foundation level test
