Start your side hustle: This course can be taken full-time or alongside your Masters study in a different course at the University of Melbourne. Choose to take some of the subjects as electives or add the full Certificate (domestic students only).
Learn from the best: You’ll be taught by leading academic experts in entrepreneurship and business as well as experienced entrepreneurs from industry.
Stack your study: After completing the Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship, you can apply for credit into our Master of Entrepreneurship (Enhanced).
The Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship can equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to be an agent of change in either a new venture or an established organisation.
Build foundational knowledge and skills and refine your entrepreneurial talents to analyse and solve business and social problems.
Related Pathways
This course is designed as a pathway to the Master of Entrepreneurship (Enhanced). It can also be taken concurrently with, or as part, of the Master of Management or Master of International Business or other 200pt university award with relevant faculty approval. Students will receive the Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship in addition to their award.
Intended Learning Outcomes
Through academic theory and hands-on learning experiences, students will build competence in the entrepreneurial discipline need to prepare them to establish their own entrepreneurial venture.
On successful completion of this degree graduates will be:
Adept at analysis and evaluation of social and business problems to enable evidence-based enterprise decision making.
Proficient in professional knowledge and skills in entrepreneurial practices.
Creative, critical thinkers in relation to entrepreneurial practice and in developing evidence-based solutions to problems in enterprises and in broader society.
Skilled at identifying and implementing entrepreneurial business opportunities in a simulated real-life environment.
Competent at analysing and evaluating information to enable evidenced-based entrepreneurial practice.
