COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Bachelor of Arts (Global Studies) will prepare you to become an active global citizen; the type of person who can find creative ways to address the challenges faced by the international community, both now and in the future. You’ll explore the complex, interconnected and culturally diverse nature of the contemporary world, and think critically about issues within their global context.

Over the course of your study, you’ll develop the flexibility, analytical skills and global mindset to adapt effectively in rapidly changing work environments. You’ll graduate possessing the intercultural skills and global interdisciplinary understanding necessary for a career across government, business or the non-government organisation sector globally.

Study a Bachelor of Arts (Global Studies) at UC and you will:

explore and communicate the nature and importance of global cultural diversity
critically analyse and communicate effectively about global issues from an interdisciplinary perspective
evaluate the impact of the global context on local cultures, communities and issues
propose and justify solutions to real-world problems using a critical understanding of the global context
